...Fluorescent lighting color change

Large clean Chrome Tourmaline with the 'Usambara' color change effect - changing from a deep green to blood red and yellow/orange green colors under bright  incandescent lighting. This rare-sized large stone is 22.24cts. On the "best green" axis it a nice trilliant shape 18.3mmX15.2mmX13.7mm. The very deeply toned  Color change axis is also a nice trilliant shape 16mmX14.7mmX12.9mm. And this large rare-sized 22.24ct stone looks great at 10X.
22.24@ $15.00/ct = $333.60

AFRICAN BRIGHT YELLOW OPAL (Tanzania):
Here are a couple parcels of rather "delicious" looking African opal.  This material is semi-translucent and looks like lemon meringue pie filling.  Some pieces look clean enough to possibly facet, but this material would obviously be great for carving and cabbing.
I'd love to see someone make a gemstone pie slice or lemon candy out of one of these !

16.10cts Large rare-sized crystal
<-- CLiCK to see picture this stone
...view 2 (C axis)

This one has a bright sky-blue Open C-axis with excellent color on either A-B or C-axis. Not cheap, but this material will cut something that that is worth your time and effort!  While there is some minor surface crazing noted, I have polished one end to see down the C-axis, and internally this nice crystal looks 10X clean.  This crystal should produce a superb large gem (or a nice pair if you slice in half and cut the C-axis) in the hands of an experienced faceter.  Trilliant C-axis: 10.2mmX9.4mmX16mm  or A-B axis: 16mmX10mmX9.4mm

16.10cts (9.028 grams!) @ $50.00/ct = $805.00

This one has a bright sky-blue Open C-axis with excellent color on either A-B or C-axis. Not cheap, but this material will cut something that that is worth your time and effort!  As typical of these larger crystals, this crystal has some skin stresses / crazing.  These should not be an issue (would be cut away), and these are not even visible across the A-B axis....see the close up.  Note that on one edge about 5mm from the end of the crystal there is a veil which protrudes in about 5mm - this is marked in black in the picture.  Otherwise the interior cutting portion looks very clean at 10X.  In any case, this should produce a superb large gem (or a big one and a smaller one) in the hands of an experienced faceter.
Trilliant shaped C-axis: 14.7mmX12.4mmX22.2mm ; or long A-B axis: 22.7mmX15.2mmX12.8mm

45.14cts (9.028 grams!) @ $48.00/ct = $2166.72

TSILAISITE Tourmaline (Zambia):
Tsilaisite (sill-Eye-site) is an extremely rare species of Tourmaline only found in a few places around the world.  It has an intense "neon" green to yellow color and contains a high content of Mn up to 9.2%.  One notable find of gemmy facet grade material was in Zambia in the late 1970's, but since that time very little of the material has been available.  In recent years a few new finds have been discovered in Zambia at the location of the old mine, and a small amount of gemmy rough became available.  If you like collecting and cutting rare Tourmaline here is your chance!
