2.  Please EMAIL us your shipping address, etc. (We must add Texas sales tax (8.25%) if your shipping address is in Texas)

We can accept the following methods of payment for your order:

US Mail Money Orders from the US Post Office (if you want your order fairly quick, this is the best way to go!)

Personal Check, Credit Card Check (This is fine, but we must wait for the check to clear. Bounced checks are subject to $25 banks fee plus collection and credit reporting expenses.)

Wire Transfer in *** US Funds *** to our bank (This works very well for International orders, and we ship out as soon as the wire is confirmed) .  An additional fee of $26.00 is added to these orders to cover the various fees  charged to us for accepting the wire.

VISA/MasterCard using the PayPal Service - US & International
International payment now available through PayPal.
This service allows you to use your existing Visa or Mastercard to pay for on-line purchases. The service is free, secure, and is easy to do. You can easily pay your bill on-line via PayPal, and you DO NOT have to register with PayPal (up to their $2,000 transaction limit). Shipment of your order is then immediate!

Why do we use the PayPal System?  For one thing it allows us to accept VISA and MasterCard without the exorbitant monthly fees that are usually associated with accepting credit cards (so we can keep our prices down).
On the buyer's side, PayPal handles your transaction privately and securely, and they never pass on your bank or credit card information to the seller.  The big  plus here is that you do not have to worry about your information being stored, possibly insecurely, at each site you shop at !

We have personally used PayPal on the "buyer" side of a transaction and it works great!  If you have any problems signing up, just give us a shout  or PayPal customer service is also usually surprisingly responsive ...

As a general rule, we will try to ship the fastest and cheapest method available - generally US Priority Mail is the best trade-off between price and fast shipping times.  This is $5.00 PLUS Insurance.

Insurance runs $1.00 per $100 level (ie. $0 to $100 is $1.00 to insure, $101 to $200 is  $2.00 to insure,  etc...)

If you would like your order faster than in 2 to 4 days, after payment  we can ship it to you via USPS next-day services for an extra charge (new USPS rates apply)  PLUS insurance (now $1.00 extra over $100 per $100 level) 

Remember if you pay by check, we have to wait until the check clears.
All packages are sent insured and the shipping, handling, and insurance charges will be added to your order total. (We'll let you know what these charges will be of course.)

We currently have great customers in Australia, Canada, England, France, Japan, and Portugal.  We ship "Global Express (Air)" and insure the package for safe passage.  So far we have never experienced a problem with foreign shipments, but please understand we can not be responsible for the handling and delivery of the package once it leaves the US nor the possibility of duties charges etc. that your country may try to charge you.

Global Express Shipping and Insurance generally costs:
Canada: "base rate" is $15.00
Europe: "base rate" is $25 .00
Asia/Australia: "base rate" is $25.00

The "base rate" usually includes shipping and ionly $100 of insurance (it is $1.00 extra over $100 per $100 level).

Some of our Int'l customers prefer shipment by the less expensive Registered Air Mail.  However please note that there is only $45 indemnity, so the buyer must weigh the risk of loss. (We have never had a problem shipping this way, but there is always the risk.)

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase.
You may return at your expense any of our cut gems or gemstone rough to us for a refund or credit as long as you follow the conditions below:

Cut Gem  Return Policy:

  • The gem must be returned in the same condition as we sent it.

  • You have returned the gem (at your expense) within 2 (Two) weeks.

Rough Return Policy:
  • If purchased as a lot, the entire lot must be returned

  • You have not altered the rough in any way.

  • You have returned the rough (at your expense) within 2 (Two)  weeks.

Please remember to carefully pack and insure your return for your own protection.

Everything else: Services (lab appraisals etc.), certain special offers, and some custom requests are not returnable/refundable.  (We will let you know when you order if something fits into this category.)
